Jessica Lange is fantastic. And she was on an entertaining show. But she’s got nothing on Juliana or Kyra’s performances this year. Nothing. And she’s supporting. But that I’ll have to take up with the performance category makers.
That said, I do think she was gracious.
M: True - supporting would have been more appropriate
T: I agree - she is an icon - I just hate montages. I’m on the fence about her suit material, but the silhouette and necklaces are rockin’ especially for an old broad (which i say with the utmost respect - I am a middle-aged broad myself)
Here’s a little factoid. We’re mostly completely jaded when it comes to celebs since our super important jobs have let us meet them all. But you know what? If I met Mary Tyler Moore…I’d almost be speechless. In a good way.
As far as I’m concerned, there was only one choice for Best Ensemble Comedy Series & they won! Modern Family - top to toe, impeccable every week. I am a little disappointed it was a rehearsed thank you, though. (But cute that they put the kids forward)
Jane Lynch: She gets a pass on my Glee hate. Really digging the earrings.
Shailene Woodley: She should be taking home the Oscar. But those fools screwed everything up and didn’t nominate her. Sadly, this must have affected her brain based on dress selection for the awards tonight. It’s ok, Shailene. MauiLovesChachi still has your back.
Meryl: She’s never going to win any fashion awards. And we all know that. Love that chick.
Emma Stone: Fabulous. Looks fantastic in black!
Tina Fey: She’s so tiny when you meet her in “real life,” yet always looks huge and not good at these things. I guess that’s OK. She’s Liz Lemon, after all.
Maya Rudolph: I want to say terrible things about her dress. But I won’t. Because I love the hell out of her, too. (Hello passive aggressive.)
30 Rock people…eh. Regina King, who can do no wrong in my book, looks great. If you aren’t watching Southland, you’re stupid. Juliana Margulies looks great. Classy. Remember, if you aren’t watching The Good Wife, you are sad.
CBS News Sunday Morning is probably the best news/lifestyle show you aren’t watching. From the easy, comforting tone of Charles Osgood to the fantastic stable of reporters and contributors…it’s an hour and a half of pleasure.
What’s so good about the show, besides its stable of people, is that it focuses on 4-5 stories and that’s it. So everything is very in depth.
The end of the show, about 30 seconds of HD nature, is the most relaxing, awesome 30 seconds of TV all week.
