What to Watch, 8-14-12 (Part 2)
M: There are few fun items in primetime tonight. It’s just that T doesn’t watch them.
Beverly Hills Nannies is very entertaining. Although one of the nannies, Amber Valdez, has already started rounding out her prestigious multi-hypenate career with her start in lingerie football, I’d wager you’ll be seeing some of these faces again on Bachelor/ette, Real Housewives, and perhaps Celebrity Rehab. Parents beware, you do NOT want your nanny on this show. Some of these kids do actually seem to be good with the children, but they spill the beans on everything.
ABC Family, 9PM EDT
(T: This would be the same M who relentlessly antagonized me for watching American Idol in the early days. And is now watching something called Beverly Hills Nannies. War is officially won.)
(M: I told you - when I go low, I go REALLY low. Idol sucks because stupid people vote for contestants who are cute or charismatic vs. having true singing talent. I don’t want a packaged pop star - I want somebody with talent. It’s amazing Kelly Clarkson emerged on top given the choices they’ve made over the years.)
