United Airlines Sucks Major Ass (Virgin America FOREVER!!!!!!)

T:  So I ventured back into the abyss that is the mid-west for (yeah, movie title) my best friend’s wedding.  And every single leg of my journey from Burbank to Fort Wayne was a disaster (and back!  6 flights in all).  

The first two hour delay on the tarmac I was sort of willing to write off.  Even though we were in SanFran, heading to Chicago…where there were storms…but, um, SFO is about 4 hours from ORD.  But…OK.  I came to realize that United lies…and that it all stems from this merger with Continental.  The employees hate the company.  And, according to the very regular business travelers, these phony delays all stem from revenge.  Example:  In The Fort, we pulled back from the gate to come home and suddenly we we’re delayed.  We were told O’Hare had a total ground stoppage.  And that all connections would be delayed as well.  LIE.  By the time I got to ORD, I had 10 minutes to get to mainline UAL.  If you’ve flown through ORD, you know what a shit hole it is.  AND how long it takes to get from one United terminal to another.

I wondered why my legs felt a little sore this morning.  Then I remembered.  Oh, I had to go up and down so many flights of stairs…all decrepit, all steep and stupid (I know, I’m a baby—but United sucks—and sucks even worse at ORD).

There was one employee out of, gosh…30 (I had a miserable 6 flights), who actually smiled.  One.  Fuck United.  Glad I used up those miles.  I’m done.  And so VERY done with O’Hare.

Virgin America FOREVER!!!!!!!!!
